Our Church is part of the Methodist Church. We belong in our area to a circuit which in turn is part of a district that is part of the UK Methodist Church. Please find below details on each body and links to their websites if you wish to understand more.
The calling of the Methodist Church is:
To respond to the gospel of God’s love in Christ and to live out its discipleship in worship and mission
It does this through

The Church exists to increase awareness of God’s presence and to celebrate God’s love

The Church exists to help people to grow and learn as Christians, through mutual support and care
Service
The Church exists to be a good neighbour to people in need and to challenge injustice

The Church exists to make more followers of Jesus Christ

The Methodist Church in the UK is divided into Districts. Poulton Methodist Church belongs to the North West England District of the Methodist Church
Our region covers Cumbria, Lancashire, Greater Manchester, Merseyside, and parts of Cheshire and Derbyshire.
We are part of the Methodist Church in Britain, and exist to support the Methodist churches in our region and the wonderful work that they’re doing.

Methodist Districts in turn are split into Circuits. The one Poulton Methodist Church belongs to is North Fylde. It covers a relatively compact geographical area from the North of the Fylde to the rural villages to the North East of the River Wyre.
